Enriching the Journey of Ageing Through Photography and Connection.
About Us
Collaborative Photography is led by Dr Tricia King, Senior Lecturer in Photography and scholar in Creative Ageing.
Based at the University of the Sunshine Coast, my work is dedicated to developing programs that empower older adults to stay active, creative, and socially connected. Through innovative photographic based projects, we provide meaningful opportunities for older Australians to engage with their communities, explore new skills, and enjoy the benefits of a creative lifestyle.

Partners and Friends
The projects we run would not be possible without the generous time and care of our friends and partners.
Many of the projects have the support of University of the Sunshine Coast Design Undergraduate students as part of the Creative Engagement course (led by Dr Leah Barclay). Thanks to Tatiana Khinevych, Ayva Kong, Shaylee, Lancaster, Keiran Dean, Lena Bishop, and all the BCI304 students who have worked on our projects.
Key collaborators on these projects are Dr Leah Barclay, Marcia Grimm, Megan Williams, Janine Fuller, Dr Dan Wadsworth, Dr Zalia Powell.
These projects have been supported by generous funding from the University of the Sunshine Coast and Creative Australia.
Organisational collaborative support includes Comlink Australia, the Australian Association of Gerontology, Lutheran Services, and Regis Aged Care.
