Our mission is simple: to improve the quality of life for older Australians by fostering creativity, social connections, and movement through engaging photographic based projects.
Picture Yourself Age Authentic Image Libary
Promoting authentic images of ageing to challenge ageist stereotypes in the media through a freely accessible and inclusive online image library.
Photo walks
Our photo walks blend creativity with physical activity, inviting participants to explore their surroundings through the lens of a camera. This project encourages creative expression, builds social connections, and improves mobility, making it a favorite for many.
Ageing Well Creative Lab
The Ageing Well Creative Lab empowers participants to embrace new technologies and creative practice, from smartphone photography to digital editing. This project fosters confidence and engagement, helping older adults connect with creativity through new media.

“For many older adults, they had become much less social over recent years, many feeling the effects of losing a partner, and so creativity projects became a safe opportunity to connect again.”
